Garden Decorations – DIY Garden Words and Numbers
Words and Numbers can do so many things. They can set a mood, or showcase a location. They can tell a time or label something so it is noted. Words and numbers can also dress up your home and garden in many ways as garden decorations.
These wonderful DIY garden decorations all use words and numbers in some creative way. They are all easy to do and yet very effective. I love cottage gardening and they would all fit into my garden scheme nicely.
Whether it be to label your herbs, or give some curb appeal to your house numbers in a neat way, one of these handy DIY projects might be just the thing to add some character to your garden or home.
Melissa from Empress of Dirt had a great idea to set a mood. She painted these polished stones and placed in a bird bath. Choose one to get some inspiration for your day. They also make nice places for butterflies to sun themselves.
Grass numbers are definitely a new way to make a statement. The green stands out perfectly on the orange background. No one will miss this from the street. Made by a company called Potted, but currently out of stock. Source via Houzz. You could make your own if you are handy with some plain sheet metal bent into the number shapes and filled with grass seed.
