If you have never discovered Hometalk, you should check it out. Hometalk is the largest home and garden info hub on the web. The Hometalk team recently contacted me and asked me to curate a board for “Inventive Uses for Rubber Bands.” I was delighted to accept.
Here are just a few of the finds that I clipped for my curated Rubber Band board at Hometalk.
The ideas range from tye died tea towels, to decorative Easter eggs, vases, table leg supports and much much more. Be sure to have a look at the Rubber Band board on Home talk for details on how to do some of these inventive projects using simple rubber bands.
My tip of the day
If your jar lid is stuck, wrap a rubber band around the lid and give it another twist. The rubber band gives the top of the jar and the lid some extra friction and makes opening the jar as easy as can be. What could be simpler than this?
Many thanks to the team at Hometalk for partnering with me for this curated board! ! It was a lot of fun and got me wondering what else I could come up with to use a simple rubber band. Also, be sure to check out my other gardening and household posts on Hometalk, too.
