Aids for Health and Wellness Goals for 2020 – Fish Oil, Magnesium and Multi Vitamins

When the new year comes to an end, I like to focus on my goals for the year.   I find that I have the most success when I keep health and wellness goals at the forefront of my mind all year round.

If you have been reading my blog lately, you will know that I have written several posts on getting healthy.  Vitamins and daily water are important to your health and wellness goals for 2020

This post was sponsored by Nature Made. It’s time to focus on health and wellness goals for 2020!

Getting a little help on health and wellness goals in 2020 is easy

I have several goals this year but most of them feature some kind of focus on my health.  I feel that I have always had a very healthy diet.

I eat lots of fruits and vegetables and try to include healthy grains and stay away from too much sugar and processed food.  So, an overall goal of health and wellness is naturally on my mind a lot.

Nature made supplements help when diet is not enough in your health and wellness goals

In spite of this, I still find that my diet is lacking in some necessary vitamins or minerals.  After all, there are some times when junk food and not so healthy stuff wins the day!

Also, do you know how hard it is to get enough potassium?  Even eating bananas every day doesn’t give me enough of this necessary vitamin.

And what about Vitamin C?  It would take over 7 oranges to equal one 500 mg Vitamin C chew-able tab.  I LOVE oranges, but I don’t plan on eating 7 of them in one day any time soon!

One thing that I have noticed is that sometimes you just need a little extra help to insure that you get the vitamins and minerals that may be missing in your diet. At times like this, supplements may be the answer for you.

Nature Made is a brand of vitamins that I have been taking for many years.  Which supplements I take can vary, depending on what is going on with my health, but there are some that always seem to be in my cupboard.

I love to garden, and last year, when digging a trench for one of my garden beds, I sprained the tendon in my left arm.

I suffered from the pain of it all season long and did a lot of research that led me to discover that both magnesium and vitamin B-6 are helpful for good tendon and bone health. Magnesium is an often overlooked vitamin.

We associate bananas with potassium, and calcium with bone health and oranges with Vitamin C, so many people take these supplements. But magnesium is a very versatile and important nutrient that many people overlook when thinking of adding supplements.

Magnesium is an overlooked vitamin but is a powerhouse for good health.

As many of you know, my mother died a few years ago.  She suffered from many health issues at the end of her life, in spite of taking relatively good care of her health.

One of the biggest issues in mum’s health was her eyes.  I’ve noticed that my vision is harder and harder to correct as I age, and my eye doctor has really stressed that I supplement my diet with Fish Oil capsules.

These supplements do so much to ease the pain of dry eyes.  The omega 3 in Fish Oil capsules works in a similar way to a diet that includes lots of sardines, salmon and other omega 3 fish proteins.

I do love salmon, but I don’t have it as often as I would ideally like, so the supplements gives me an extra dose of omega 3s to help my eyes.

My eye doctor also recommended that I take a multi vitamin supplement each day.  A diet that contains plenty of fruits and vegetables can help you to enjoy a lifetime of good vision.

But my doctor is adamant that the average person cannot get everything they need from just their diet alone, particularly when they are older.

She suggests that taking a daily multivitamin daily can help fill in the nutritional gaps in a less-than-optimal diet and may help to protect you from degenerative diseases, including eye diseases such as macular degeneration, from which my mother suffered.

So a daily multi vitamin pill is also on my list to take each day.

A daily multiple vitamin adds back what diet lacks.

Nature Made products are so easy to keep in stock. Many stores have a really big selection and I just add them to my shopping cart when I am out shopping.

Incorporating these vitamins into my daily diet has made me feel better than ever and I’m very grateful that Nature Made asked me to work with them to spread the word about their products.

Taking their vitamins makes achieving my health and wellness goals so much easier.

Take it from me.  It’s never too late to start thinking about trying to get more healthy or to develop a plan for adopting healthy practices into our everyday lives!

Whether that means making sure that we take our vitamins regularly or simply taking the dog for an evening stroll after dinner instead of watching TV, it will pay off. And making the right choices now will soon create healthy habits in the future.  Nature Made supplements and vitamins are great in a quest for health and wellness goals
