Anyone who is a fan of cinnamon sugar on toast loves snickerdoodle recipes. This delicious bread combines the taste of the well known cookie into a melt in your mouth bread recipe that will have kids and grown ups, alike, asking for more!
Making Memories with Snickerdoodle Bread
The recipe calls for flour, cinnamon, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
Trust me….if you like snickerdoodle cookies, you will love this bread.
First mix up the flour mixture and set it aside. The batter will end up with a cinnamon taste that is just delicious!
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the sour cream and vanilla and then add in the flour mix a bit at a time until well blended but don’t over mix.
Next comes the cinnamon chips. Just fold them in.
Spoon everything into greased loaf pans and tap on the counter to level the batter.
Finally mix together the extra cinnamon and sugar and spoon it over the top of the batter.
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees F until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Enjoy!

Well for heavens sake. I mis-spoke. It appears that I have collectors items in my kitchen.
They are available from Lennox china for $30+ dollars each (I paid $2.99 each for them way back when)

Hi Cheryl
I bought that set of spice jars years ago in Australia. (like 30 years maybe) I doubt if they are still available for sale.
I love them too.
