Ideas for Decorating a Sun Room

Bring in the Outdoors with These ideas for Decorating a Sun Room.

If you read my blog often, you will know that I have a bit of a passion for garden beds.  I have 11 of them all around my home.  Some of my favorite ones are in my back yard, but the south facing exposure makes our deck a hot place to admire them.  This is where my project for decorating a sun room comes in.Decorating a Sun room in style is easy with the help of Shopswell. Find all your decor items in one price and track prices while you window shop. I have long wanted a sun room, or some sort of enclosed patio where I can sit and admire my gardens, have brunch or just read a book and enjoy the outdoors without the blistering heat that we get here in NC. I have finally convinced my husband that he wants this too. (first step in getting things done in my house!) Perhaps we’ll be able to admire this huge garden bed without getting scorched now!Garden outside my back deckWe have all sorts of things in mind. I think our final project is going to be to close in our large deck and add a pergola over the top, chair rail height walls and a screened enclosure. I can see it in my mind….and I can almost see all the things that I plan to put in it when it’s done. (hopefully this winter, so that we can enjoy it next year when the weather gets hotter. The sun room will be the perfect spot to have lunch and look out on this lovely garden bed.Southwest garden bedNow…onto the fun part of decorating – the shopping trip! They have a price stalker that lets you track prices and alerts you when it’s time to buy at the lowest price! And what could be better than other shopper’s lists curated by theme? It makes shopping a breeze.

I thought it would be fun to go on a virtual shopping trip for my sun room on the site. The search is a breeze to use and I have made my own list called HOME DECOR SUPPLIES AND IDEAS FOR MY NEW SUN-ROOM. I think that tells the story to fellow shoppers pretty well doesn’t it?

It’s hard to choose my favorites from my list but here are a few of them. I just love all four of these products. And the prices are great. I saw a set of those wire baskets last weekend for $70!  And that French country clock is to die for!Pillows and decor for a sunroomI love changing out the decor for the different seasons too. These witch figurines are adorable for fall. A sun room would be heavenly. I think it would be fun to update decor to match the changing seasons. But that vintage clock would stay year round.

We don’t have a sunroom, but I sure would like one! One of my favorite things to do is sit in the sun and read while drinking my morning coffee. Bonus if it’s indoors and there are no bugs!

Yes. It gets so hot here in the summer that I could actually use it instead of being so hot outside.

I don’t have a sunroom but most Floridians have a Florida room or Lani. Which I have a Lani. It’s an open area that covers my pool area. Love all your decorating tips.

I would love a sunroom and have thought about changing my dining room into a sitting area as it gets the most sun, but I love my dining room. And I use it. So cute and love the products you used.

I absolutely love the pumpkin with the tea lights! We also live in North Carolina. We moved here about 2 1/2 years ago. This is the first time we have had a sunroom, and we love it! We use it year round. I even sit in it in the winter and watch the birds and the animals, I just don’t stay very long! Off to see Shopswell.
