Ginger Soy Sauce Marinade with Chives

This Ginger Soy Sauce Marinade gives all the flavor (and more!) of a bottled sauce and is easy to make and better for your health.

Most bottled marinades are full of chemicals which do your body no good at all.

Ginger soy marinade is perfect for all types of meat and fish.

The marinade is a cinch to make.  Just combine all the ingredients and whisk away.  It is a perfect choice for any proteins that you will be grilling.  Great with shish kebabs, roasts…even as a salad dressing for a fresh and tangy taste.

The maple syrup gives it just a hint of sweetness that is delightful.  The chives give it a slight onion flavor without being too strong. All in all, just delightful! (Chives are super easy to grow. See my tips for growing chives here.)

I plan to marinade a roast in it for dinner tonight.  Stay tuned to see how I like it this way!

Soy ginger marinade with fresh chives**Vegans take note:  this is a vegan dish too.  I used it the other night on vegetable shish kebabs and grilled them on the stove top on a grilling pan and my meat eating husband was very impressed.

Did you know that you can grow your own ginger from a piece of ginger root? Find out how to do it.

Do you make your own marinades or do you use bottled dressings?
