My favorite Outdoor Kitchens – A Girl Can Dream Can’t She?

I spend a great deal of time in the kitchen. Sadly my little kitchen is a narrow galley design with not much counter space.  So I find myself drooling over home improvement sites and other online sources, day dreaming about the perfect place to cook.   One of my items on my “dream list” is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen suitable for summer time entertaining.

A girl can dream! Round up of outdoor kitchens.

Here are some of my favorite outdoor kitchens that take in a lot of nature.

Outdoor kitchen with flagstone and stacked stone. This wonderful outdoor kitchen features cinder block, flagstone and stacked stone. More flagstone leads to the natural stone”deck”.  The stone makes this one for me! Shared from Houzz.

This lovely setting features colored concrete counter tops and a black glass tile back splash for a dramatic effect. A pergola made of stained redwood enhances the top-of-the-line look.  Fully equipped and perfect for entertaining.  Source:  HGTV

This rustic log cabin style seems more cozy but loses none of the features of the larger styles.  This one would suit smaller patio spaces.  Source Log Home

The example you gave of a rustic log cabin outdoor kitchen and how cozy and comfy it looks really caught my eye. I've always wanted a small nook where I can have barbecue cookouts and family outdoor dinners, and I wanted to know the best way to keep it consistent with my natural-looking house. With how snug and cozy this example looks like, I'm sure that my family will love to tuck in and have a nice meal outside, so I'll talk to a home construction contractor and see if they can help me get something like this.

Wow, I'm also mesmerized by the outdoor kitchen with a cinder block, stacked stone, and flagstone. It truly has a very natural appeal. I'm also planning to make some home improvements on our house. I like to build an extension sunroom and an outdoor kitchen. The brick with grasses idea is my pick. My family also loves barbecuing, so I'm gonna have to buy an outdoor barbeque kitchen equipment to match it.

Creating a unique outdoor kitchen is such a great addition to any home and will increase your value immensely. I am a big fan of creating a pergola to provide some shade without blocking out the sun. They are beautiful and fairly inexpensive to build.

Hi Chad. We hope to enlarge our deck this year and add a pergola. Can't wait to get a bit of shade on it. Carol
