Cucumber Mint Sauce

This cucumber mint sauce is the perfect side dish to tone down the heat of any Indian food recipe.  The cool taste of the yoghurt combines with the cucumber mint and garlic to give a refreshing change from spicy foods.

It’s a great way to use up cucumbers with a bitter taste, or those that have turned yellow instead of green.

This cucumber mint sauce is the perfect condiment for Indian foods.

Cool down Indian foods with this Cucumber Mint Sauce

This sauce makes a great side dish for my Tandoori Shrimp recipe.

The sauce is super easy to do.  Just dice fresh cucumbers and combine it with fresh mint, plain yoghurt, some salt and a bit of garlic.
