This is my latest group of best household tips to make your home run more smoothly and efficiently.

I am an orderly person.  Organization seems to be my middle name.  I am always looking for tips to make things easier for me to manage at home.

Some tips help to make your cleaning jobs easier. Some are organizational in style and some help to get your outdoor projects done with a minimum of fuss.

These household tips are found on websites and  blogs all over the web.  Some of the inspiration for them comes from Pinterest. Some I get from searching Google and other search engines.  And some are just tips I have been using my whole life.

Cooler cornIf you want to cook corn for the a large group, here is a dead simple, ingenious method:  Fill a large, clean cooler with loads of corn on the cob and pour two kettles-full of boiling water over the corn, then close the top.

Don’t have heavy cream called for in a recipe?  Just substitute equal amounts of Evaporated Milk.  Source: The Gardening Cook.

towel mildewRemove a mildew smell from towels with vinegar.  Wash load with 2 cups vinegar. Wash again as normal. Dry thoroughly! Now my towels smell clean and fresh.

peroxide bleachHydrogen Peroxide is an excellent bleach alternative when you’re looking for something that’s much safer for your family and clothes. It’s non-toxic, but still very effective.
